Reklame mo\u017eemo sistematizovati na vi\u0161e na\u010dina i prema razli\u010ditim kriterijumima. Tako bi, primenom hronolo\u0161kog principa, odnosno vremena nastanka, jedna od najstarijih formi reklame bila reklamna tabla, cimer ili firma; dok bi, prema rasprostranjenosti, a samim tim i prema zna\u010daju, svakako najzna\u010dajniji bili \u0161tampani oglasi, i to pre svega novinski reklamni oglasi, afi\u0161e i plakati. Posebno mesto me\u0111u njima zauzimaju katalozi i kalendari. Od velikog zna\u010daja za marketing oduvek je bio i vizuelni grafi\u010dki identitet (memorandumi, za\u0161titni znaci, etikete, nalepnice). Posebnu vrstu reklama \u010dini <strong>ambala\u017ea<\/strong> i ukrasna hartija za pakovanje, koje sadr\u017ee elemente vizuelnog grafi\u010dkog identiteta. Ona je sredstvo koje priprema proizvod za prodaju i \u0161titi ga od svih vrsta o\u0161te\u0107enja.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 3em;\">Vrste i tipovi ambala\u017ee su brojni, jer su se kroz istoriju menjali u skladu sa razvojem tehnologije, umetni\u010dkih stilova, dizajna, tehnike \u0161tampanja i drugih faktora. Ambala\u017ea je od davnina bila va\u017ean \u010dinilac u strategiji marketinga. Nekada je pakovanje proizvoda bilo jednostavno i osnovna funkcija mu je bila da \u0161titi predmet pri transportu, ali i da obave\u0161tava kupca o proizvodu koji se u njemu nalazi, odnosno da potencijalne kupce informi\u0161e o postojanju tog proizvoda. U po\u010detku je kupcima nu\u0111eno mnogo artikala bez ambala\u017ee. Vremenom su se pojedini proizvodi po\u010deli izlagati u odre\u0111enim posudama, koje je izra\u0111ivao sam proizvo\u0111a\u010d, a na njima se nalazilo i ime proizvo\u0111a\u010da i adresa. To je bio slu\u010daj i sa etiketama na vinskim fla\u0161ama i apotekarskim bo\u010dicama. Ve\u0107 u 18. veku su proizvo\u0111a\u010di sami pravili dekorativne omotnice ili etikete, kako bi se istakla njihova namena. U tu svrhu su se \u010desto koristili ru\u010dno ra\u0111eni natpisi ili litografije. Prvi ukrasi na etiketama su uglavnom imali dekorativnu svrhu, ali su slu\u017eili i za obja\u0161njenje porekla, vrste ili naziva proizvoda. Polovinom 19. veka su se po\u010dela \u0161tampati slova u raznim bojama, kako bi dizajn etikete \u0161to vi\u0161e do\u0161ao do izra\u017eaja. Od tada je izrada nalepnica postala jeftinija, a samim tim i pristupa\u010dnija za proizvo\u0111a\u010de. Zahvaljuju\u0107i tome, dizajn pakovanja se po\u010deo brzo razvijati. Upakovana roba ili roba s etiketom je naro\u010dito ukra\u0161avana \u2013 pomo\u0107u pa\u017eljivo odabranih litografija, papira u boji i \u0161tampanih slova. Na tako dekorisanoj ambala\u017ei \u010desto su se nalazili ime i adresa proizvo\u0111a\u010da. Ambala\u017ea je naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e bila u skladu sa kompletnim vizuelnim grafi\u010dkim identitetom, prisutnim i na memorandumima, narud\u017ebenicama, ra\u010dunima, reklamnim oglasima. Takav primer je hartija za pakovanje <em>\u0161tolverk<\/em> (<em>Stollwerck<\/em>) karamela: znak firme se nalazi i na kutiji za pakovanje bombona poznatog nema\u010dkog proizvo\u0111a\u010da. Sli\u010dan primer predstavlja i hartija za pakovanje sa reklamom stovari\u0161ta \u201eAldan i Putnik\u201c, koja sadr\u017ei odre\u0111ene grafi\u010dke elemente identi\u010dne sa onim na memorandumu i narud\u017ebenici istog vlasnika radnje. Veoma su zanimljive kutije za \u017eenske i mu\u0161ke \u0161e\u0161ire, koje su ra\u0111ene prema obliku i dimenzijama \u0161e\u0161ira, a sa spolja\u0161nje strane je, na vidnom mestu, obavezno bio od\u0161tampan ili utisnut za\u0161titni znak firme koja ih je izradila. Takav primer je cilindar sa etiketom <em>Pinaud &amp; Amour Des cours strangers 41. Avenue de l\u0384Op\u00e9ra Paris Sug\u00e1r B\u00e9la Szabadka<\/em>.
